Join award-winning trumpeter, vocalist, and songwriter Rebecca Hennessy for an intimate evening of song, story, and connection in the cozy warmth of the Tranzac’s Living Room. Rebecca will be joined by two extraordinary Niagara-based artists, Joe Lapinski and Laurel Minnes, for a shared “in-the-round” performance where songs, stories, and harmonies intertwine in real time — all beautifully grounded by Michael Herring on upright bass.

Joe Lapinski is a songwriter, performer, producer, and sound designer based in St. Catharines, Ontario. A deeply creative force in the Niagara region, he performs both as a solo artist and with ensembles such as Minuscule, The Woodshed Orchestra, Rita & The Daydreamers, and more. Joe is the owner and head producer at WOW! Recording Studio & Creative Music Space, co-founder of the In the Soil Arts Festival, and the SOUND SOUND Improvised Music Series. His latest album, New Day (June 2025), co-produced with Dave Clark, is his most sonically adventurous and emotionally resonant to date—reflecting on fatherhood, transformation, and growth.

Laurel Minnes is a film, stage, and voice actor, ukulelist, songwriter, and arranger whose collaborations have earned a 2021 Juno nomination for her choral work. She fronts Minuscule, the harmony-driven pop collective known for emotionally stirring, tongue-in-cheek lyricism and interwoven melodies. Their sophomore album, co-produced by Lapinski, arrives spring 2026.
